csd_nuertingen@systemli.org

We are working to make our CSD more accessible to everyone and continue educating ourselves.
However, there are still areas where we lack knowledge and experience.
We are constantly striving to learn and improve.
Therefore, we are always open to feedback and suggestions, and we are very grateful for them!

Meetings in the Silberburg

About the meeting:
–Meetings take place while the bar is closed
– Spoken language in meetings is German (for now)
– Translations to English are possible
– Other languages as well, depending on the people present
– We’re trying to use easy language
– During the Meetings we use hand signs (i.e. for voting)
– We’re sitting in a circle
– There is moderation and we write a protocol
– During the meetings we don’t consume alcohol or cigarettes (or any substances)
– Drinks can be bought for donation
– Tab water is free
–After about an hour we take a break (10-15min)
– At any point, one can leave early or take a break, go outside etc.
– There are probably about 5-15 people present

About the place:
– The Pub Silberburg has two Entrances that are only accessible via stairs
-Unfortunately, there is no good ramp for wheelchairs
– The toilets are very narrow
– The toilets are for people of all genders, i.e. without a male/female division
– There is gravel in the yard
– The bell doesn’t work, however the doors are unlocked during the meeting

About the Directions:
– The nearest bus stops from the train station are Amtsgericht or Schillerplatz
– From there it is about 700 meters to the pub
– We can reserve a parking space upon request

About the surroundings:
– The Silberburg is in a residential area
– A few meters away there is a train track
– Passing trains cause loud and unexpected noises which can be starteling

Schedule

  • 12:00 – 1:00 PM Rally
    ◦ Speeches from Leuchtlinie, CSD Group, and the political theater group
    ◦ German, non-easy language – the speech can be found for reading in both german and english in the menu point Material
    ◦ We are still trying to find someone to translate the speeches into german sign language; it might not be possible this time, and we apologize for that.
    ◦ Instead of clapping audibly, we’d like to use the sign for applause this year – simply wave your hands. This will reduce loudness and sensory input.
    ◦ There will be seating available on-site.
    ◦ Reserved seating for people with (mobility) disabilities or exhaustion symptoms will be available in front of the stage.
    ◦ Wheelchair access will be available.
    ◦ The ground in front of the town hall is partially paved with smooth, even concrete tiles and cobblestones.
  • 1:00 – 2:00 PM Demonstration
    ◦ There will be a loudspeaker vehicle with loud music, and slogans will be shouted using a megaphone.
    ◦ As we cannot predict the number of participants, we cannot plan where it will be louder or quieter during the demonstration.
    ◦ You can pick up earplugs at the Awareness Tent.
    ◦ The route will include several inclines, cobblestones, and uneven ground.
    ◦ The total distance is 1.5 km.
    ◦ The rally location will be between 100 to 400 meters from each point of the demo.
    ◦ If someone wishes to leave the route, the Awareness Team will accompany them back.
    ◦ If the pace is too fast for you, please inform the organizing or awareness team.
  • 2:00 – 4:00 PM Street Festival
    ◦ There will be various booths, music, and a drag show.
    ◦ This will also take place at the rally location, so the same barriers as listed above will apply here.
